Harrison County Community Services, Inc. provides many forms of crisis assistance to families and individuals in need.

Assistance provided can include, but is not limited to:

• Rent Payments
• Utility bills (gas, electric, sewer & water)
• Budget Counseling and case management are provided as needed. HCCS can only provide crisis assistance once every six(6) months.

Electric Assistance is provided in part by REMC's Lend a Hand program. This program is funded through donations by members and employees, and distributed through HCCS. The Lend a Hand program provides additional assistance throughout the year to REMC customers.
