The local Step Ahead Council is responsible for identifying needs of the county as they relate to children and families; facilitating coordination efforts among participating agencies; and providing an exchange of information with the participating agencies and the community.

Meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month in the Harrison County Community Foundation Conference room from noon to 1:00 pm. Harrison County Community Foundation is located at 1523 Foundation Way, Corydon. HCCS is pleased to participate in these monthly roundtables to help coordinate benefits for Harrison County residents.
